Alright, so here we start with the points....
What Is Blogging?
Okay, so, right now whatever you are reading is a blog aka an article. & I am obviously writing this blog//article.
& Oh.... Hi BTW! Hope you're doing good!!
-- Anyways, so, the thing I am doing (that is writing this blog) is what we know as Blogging!
So, it's safe to say that I am a Blogger!
& I own this website ---- RSPH Blogs - Finances! ---- This is a Blog Website.... as it have tons of blogs//articles in it!
I hope that makes some sense....!
Anyways, so, now, let us talk about....,
How Do You Start Blogging?
So, first of all you've gotta choose a platform & that can be any.... Like ---- Blogger, Wordpress, Wix, etc. &/OR you can even code your website.... & then write blogs & publish'em.
If you ask me than my site is built on the "Blogger Platform", like---- you can see from the free ".blogspot" domain, I have!
I won't recommend you any platforms.... Every single platform have it's own pros & cons...., you can do your research & see which one suites you the best!
Anyways so, after you've choosen your platform & are done setting it up with domains & all that stuff.... You'll also need to choose a niche aka topic!
This is nothing else but the topic your website will be on!
Like ---- mine is "Finances"!
& just make sure that you know this topic well & will be able to write multiple articles on that particular niche!
Once you've perfomed these basic tasks.... Your all set up to launch blogs straight up to the web!
Anyways, so now talking about....
How Do You Get Visitors? (& why do visitors matter?)
Well just after you've created your website & published your first blogspot.... you might be checking the stats every few minutes.., just wondering if someone's out there reading your posts & it's very normal for every beginner to act like that!
As a new blogger with a new website, let's face it.... You would not be getting many views, no matter how great your content is.... These things take time! ----Now it's not like great content doesn't matter; infact, it is one of the only things that matters.... But it'll take some time for Google to realise the true worth of your content & for that you'll have to do SEO....; Index posts (I'll talk about Indexing & all, later in this article); promote it on Social Media & get back links from other websites (Guest Blogging ---- a part of SEO!)....!
But still, in the start you might be waking up every morning just to see that nobody have read your article, & it really can be pretty heart breaking at times. But that's just what every content creator have go through, regardless!!
It's just kind of saddening 'cuz you did put in an effort in writing those posts. Didn't you?
But never get your hopes down!
'cuz even if you are doing what you love to do.... like-- Writing & stuff.... ----To become Successful, you'll have to do that specific thing to an extent where it can get pretty overwhelming at times!!
---- But that's also kind of what it demands!
Anyways; so let's talk about stuff that'll help you rank & get organic traffic from Google....
BTW, Getting Traffic means Getting Visitors//Readers to your website!

What 'bout Ranking On Google ; Indexing & all?
First of, let us talk about what really ranking is...., So, Ranking is basically your article's appearance on a certain position of the page for a specific keyword....!
Here's an image for instance....:
So you see that* Investopedia* is ranking no. #1 for the keyword "What Is Share Market?"
But what's the point of ranking higher?
It is pretty obvious actually 'cuz the people who want to know what share market is will more likely click on the first result!
The top 10 pages that rank for a specific keyword are usually more likely to receive organic traffic from google!
Now let us come to the point of how can you rank....?
Well, SEO is one of the most important things one can do.
If you don't know what SEO is than leave a comment & I'll look forward to writing an article on the topic!
But one thing that's a part of SEO is getting back links.... You can get back links from other sites
Backlinks are nothing but links to your site from other websites (websites that are of the same niche as yours)!

Anyways, so, you can even try promoting on Social Media!
Use Paid Ads & stuff like that!

Now, I'm not saying that you'll start getting a lot of views at once & just rank at the highest, right away!
But still, this will be helpful for your site!
Now, Talking 'bout Indexing....
Well, after publishing your first blog post, most of the times your site just won't show up on Google!
In order to let Google know that your site exists.... You'll first need to go to Google Search Console & submit a sitemap, there!
You can also individually try indexing your articles in Google Search Console!
By doing so, you'll basically let Google Bots know that your site do exist &'ll be added to their crawl queue & later Google Bot will crawl your page & determine if it is valuable & meant to be on Google & later you're site will soon (as long as a week or so!!) start showing up on Google!
Now, you don't have to be afraid when I say that the Bot will check if your site is valuable.... The thing they exactly check is that if you site has any noindex tags & if it does than of course it can't be index.... & also the Crawl Bot will go through your site's links that its referring to & who is referring back in order to determine the position on a page your article should be on ; that's why Internal Links (part of SEO) matter as well!
Anyways, so I hope that made some sense!
Now, let's come to one of the most awaited points.... I guess!!

How Do You Earn?
Once you start getting a decent amount of visitors per day, to your website than you can simply start displaying ads & start earning from clicks & impressions! The most popular ad platform that content creators use is Google Adsense! You'll need to apply for Adsense Approval first!
Another way to earn is to promote products & services of other Companies!
This is what we know as Affiliate Marketing!
Just choose a product or service you're readers would be interested to purchase & use! In other words, pick a product or service that matches your niche! In Affiliate Marketing, you can also get recurring incomes....!
Affiliate Marketing & Adsense, are maybe the most common sources of revenue for most Content Creators out there!
Apart from these two; you may try -- ebooks / writing your own book & selling it , sponsors, etc.!
The Time Each Factor Consumes! [Ft. My Story!]
Well, I posted my first article on this website on 9th August 2021. Monday. 11:11 A.M. (IST) (GMT +5:30)
Well, this wasn't my first try with Blogging! I have a bit of experience with 2 sites but I've actually tried over for 3 times & this website is the new one I made in July 2021 & yeah, this is my 4th attempt with Blogging!
& probably this is the only site I've had for the longest and thankfully nothing have really gone wrong! & I genuinely hope that it continues to function smoothly in future!
Now, that is a quite long story of what went wrong with my other 2 sites & the 3 tries! So, I ain't going any deeper into this one! But I'll like to tell y'all that I published my first blog in July 2020. & I know, I know, it have been 2 years.... But I just want to say that it's not important that it takes this long for you too! You can learn quicker! Actually I'm just good at procrastinating! I think it can take as long as a month for one (who doesn't waste time) to learn everything about Blogging & start Ranking on Google!
But if it's about earning to you.... Actually even I haven't started earning YET! But I'm close you know....! Like if you are reading this article than you should know that I'm close, because when I was just a noob, I could only think of people reading my posts!!!! & so that's what's happening right now 'cuz you are reading this post!!
But I believe y'all can achieve all of this way quicker than I did because I literally wasted months from in between those 2 years, it's not like I wasn't serious with Blogging, 'cuz if I wasn't I wouldn't be here!
---- okay!! So this became long anyways!!!! 🙄

Talking 'bout my Website's Traffic....

Here Are The Social Media Platforms I Use To Drive Traffic To My Site! Pics Of Stats!
Well, I basically went with promoting on Social Media & within a week of starting to workout my plan of Promoting my Articles on Social Media, I started getting some good amount of views per day! I've shown the stats in the article!

If I talk about Indexing & ranking part, than for Indexing: I submitted a sitemap & my links are usually crawled on its own within a few days, as the bot recognise the links the sitemap have! & in case, I find something off seeming I just submit a new sitemap & try sorting out the issue!
Talking 'bout Ranking.... I won't say my website ranks at the highest but yeah I found one of my article ranking for a specific keyword but not too high, huh! & don't get me wrong I got the notification from Search Console of JUST ONE of my Articles ranking! Like, seriously this is my 70th article!
C'mon Google!!
Anyways, so if I talk about Earnings...., than as I said I've not started earning just yet! But I did got adsense approval!
& so, I won't say anything about my Earnings because not too long ago is when I really got the approval of Adsense!
I got the approval on the 9th day of when I applied for Adsense after I've fixed all the issues!
& I guess now you can clearly see ads on my site, isn't it?
So, Yeah!
Talking 'bout few obvious Dos & Don'ts of Blogging...., here we go....
Some Essential Dos & Don'ts of Blogging!
Let's start with the.... Dos For Blogging:
1. Comfortable Website Look!
Make sure you're website is an easy to use one.... Not a lot of stuff one needs to do to move around! You may have a good theme!
2. Post Regularly!
Now this si something I've taken way too seriously.... I don't know, I was told this & I just sticked up to it....! They say that this'll help Google know, what the timing of our blog posts is.
3. Build Trust!
One you can do so is by having Unique Content & having backlinks, Google find valuable! This'll also help you to rank & get more traffic & you can earn more revenue!
4. Perform SEO!
This one is pretty obvious. The Backlinks one is a part of this!
Anyways, so, now, moving forward to the.... Don'ts Of Blogging:
1. No Copy Pasting!
Never Copy the Content from other websites & paste in your site! This'll get you a copyright strike & your website may be taken down!
So, Avoid Copying!!!!
